Cream of Tartar 25kg   Cream of Tartar, more technically referred to as potassium bitartrate, is a by-product of wine-making. Its chemical formula is KC4H5O6 and its form is that of a white, odourless, acidic powder. For culinary purposes it is used for stabilizing white eggs and whipped cream, anti-caking and thickening, preventing the crystallisation of sugar syrups and reducing the discolouration of boiled vegetables.
