Tartaric Acid 3 Mazzari 25kg A white, crystalline acid mostly derived from fruits; it is present in grapes, bananas, tamarinds and citrus. It is often used as an acidulant in grape and lime flavoured beverages, jams, confectionary and gelatine desserts. In the process of fermentation, cream of tartar is also formed.
