Hydrochloric Acid 36% Inhibited, also known as strong water or muriatic acid, is HCl 36% with a corrosion inhibitor added, to prevent the acid attacking/corroding the surrounding it is in. It is commonly used for cleaning hard surfaces that are tough to clean, such as brick and concrete. HCl 36% is effective for cleaning patios because it can dissolve tough grime, moss, and mineral deposits, restoring their appearance. HCl 36% is often used to balance the acidity of liquids in environments like pools and waste management. pH control, substances like Calcium Carbonate are added to react with HCl, creating calcium chloride, which is commonly used for de-icing roads.
