Methylene Chloride Drum

Methylene Chloride, which also goes by the name dichloromethane, is an organic chloride compound with the formular CH2Cl2. It is a volatile liquid with no colour but is associated with a chloroform-like, mild, sweet odour and is widely used as a solvent. It is not miscible with water but it is polar and miscible with many organic solvents. Methylene Chloride is mainly used as a solvent in paint strippers. It is also used in aerosol formations, as a solvent in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, in electronics manufacturing, and as a degreasing agent and as an ethane foam blowing agent.   Please click here to view our delivery information and costs.
