PDV Salt is pure dried vacuum salt, it’s a high purity, free flowing salt manufactured by evaporating purified brine under a vacuum before being packed for delivery. PDV salt is an extremely versatile type of salt as it has such a wide application range. It is used during water treatment, dye and textile manufacture, shampoo manufacture and is also used in animal nutrition. In water treatment, it is suitable for large commercial water softeners where the salt is discharged into a bulk saturator.
