The 25L poly is aimed at buyers who need a manageable container rather than bulk storage, such as schools and small businesses who want sodium hypochlorite 14/15% in smaller measures. It lets you hold a modest amount on site without needing a drum or IBC.
Handling and storing a poly
A full poly can still be heavy, so lift it with care and carry it on a level route. Keep the cap tightly closed, store it upright in a cool place out of sunlight, and keep it away from acids and other cleaning products. Corrosive to skin and eyes: wear gloves and goggles. Never mix sodium hypochlorite with acids or other cleaning chemicals, as this releases hazardous chlorine gas. Your own COSHH assessment should cover where and how it is kept.
