Handling and safety
Corrosive to skin and eyes — wear gloves and goggles and follow the SDS. Never mix sodium hypochlorite with acids or other cleaning chemicals: doing so releases hazardous chlorine gas. Store cool, closed and out of sunlight.

How long does sodium hypochlorite keep?
Strength declines naturally — expect around 1% available chlorine loss per month at cool storage temperatures, faster in heat or sunlight. Buy quantities you will use within a few months.
Is 14/15% hypochlorite suitable for swimming pools?
Yes — it is the standard commercial pool chlorine. Dose via your controller or by hand to maintain 1–3 mg/l free chlorine, and check pH stays in range as hypo pushes pH upward.
What dilution should I use for exterior cleaning?
For patios and render, a 1:10 to 1:20 dilution is typical. Wet the area, apply, allow contact time, then rinse thoroughly. Protect plants and rinse runoff away from beds.
